If you can’t attend the live auction evening on Friday, November 18th, there are many ways to purchase items and to participate in the Festival.
Silent Auction
The majority of trees, wreaths and gingerbreads are available for sale through the silent auction that closes at 4:00pm Sunday, November 27. For these silent auction items, it is always a good idea to be at the Festival near closing time on Sunday to get that last bid in on your favorite item.
Raffles
You may purchase a raffle ticket on one of the three designer decorated trees OR you could buy a ticket on one of two wreaths or a gorgeous two foot designer tree. The raffle tickets will be available until 4:00pm November 27th and the winners will be announced at 4:30pm. Check out the Raffle booth at the Festival of Trees to make sure you name is included in all these wonderful opportunities.
Wreaths
One of the most popular and endearing features of the Festival, has been our display of home-crafted wreaths that are donated to us for sale. Like the trees, these are sold in a variety of ways – at the Gala Auction, silent auction and by raffle. A wreath is a wonderful gift or way to add a special touch to your home.
Little Trees
Twinkle, twinkle little tree! Take a stroll through our “forest” of beautifully decorated small trees. In a wide array of themes and colors, these little trees are a perfect solution to decorate your smaller spaces. Accent your office, apartment or every room of your home with a designer touch. Enjoy!
Gingerbread Houses
You won’t want to miss the Gingerbread display in the foyer of the Civic Centre. These donated baked creations are a labor of love for bakers of all descriptions and ages throughout the community – from professional bakers to school children. The viewing lineups are a pretty good measure of the popularity of this display.
