Pro-Am Golf

The Hospital Charity Pro-Am is held annually to raise funds for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.  This tournament has become a prominent part of the golfing season in Prince George with visiting professionals from British Columbia and Alberta, tremendous prize packages, a beautiful golf course, amazing camaraderie between amateur and professional golfers and, of course a great cause!
In the last 17 years, the Pro-Am has contributed more than $400,000 to enhance healthcare for the people of northern British Columbia.
This has been possible thanks to the support of our generous sponsors and players.

Highlight of Pro -Am 2011

The 2011 Pro-Am Golf tournament,  held at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club on Thursday, July 7 was another great success for the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.  The weather threatened to be the biggest opponent, but held on long enough for most to get through 18 holes of competitive but enjoyable golf.  18 pros joined 108 amateurs to help raise funds for the Spirit of the North.  Sponsored by TELUS and BK  Two-Way Radio, this annual event was hosted by MC Gary Russell who ably assisted in the live auction and provided unlimited entertainment for the evening banquet.  Special thanks to all those who participated, volunteered, sponsored  and contributed in every way to help make the 2011 Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation Hospital Charity Pro-Am golf tournament another great success!
