The Medical Imaging Department at the University Hospital of Northern BC will be able to purchase vital new equipment thanks to a generous donation from Spectra Energy.
Spectra Energy representatives Steve Henderson, Mike McNicholas and Mac Manning presented a cheque for $7,500 to Tom Sentes, Norm Hevenor and Dr. Michelle Sutter – representatives from the Prince George hospital on December 9, 2011. The funds will go towards the purchase of a Vital Signs Monitor – a device that monitors cardiac vital signs (stress echos) prior to patient dismissal from the hospital.
