Spectra Energy – Committed to our Community

Spectra_LogoThe Medical Imaging Department at the University Hospital of Northern BC will be able to purchase vital new equipment thanks to a generous donation from Spectra Energy.

Spectra Energy representatives Steve Henderson, Mike McNicholas and Mac Manning  presented a cheque for $7,500 to Tom Sentes, Norm Hevenor and Dr. Michelle Sutter – representatives from the Prince George  hospital on December 9, 2011.  The funds will go towards the purchase of a Vital Signs Monitor – a device that monitors cardiac vital signs (stress echos) prior to patient dismissal from the hospital.

Spectra Energy has operated in British Columbia for over fifty years and is strongly committed to the success of community members and organizations. For the last 10 years, Spectra Energy has been proud to be an annual supporter of University Hospital of Northern BC. This donation represents Spectra Energy’s commitment to community health for both our employees and community members throughout northern BC.
