Volunteer Committees

The Foundation is greatly assisted through the volunteered time of hundreds of people throughout each year.  Many of the Foundation’s programs and events would not be possible without volunteer help.  These range from large scale projects such as the Festival of Trees which numbers more than 500 volunteers, to individual tasks of only a few hours.

Recognition is often provided within the project, with uniform recognition of hours being provided through the Presidents Club, where each hour donated is valued at 20 points.  New volunteers are always welcome.  For more information, please contact Development Officer Debie Hamilton, 250-565-2522.
