Prince George Cougars Community Heroes Mega 50/50 Weekend

The Prince George Cougars have dedicated the weekend of November 9th and 10th to honouring and celebrating community heroes of Northern BC. The fun kicks off on Saturday, November 9th at 6:00pm vs the Vancouver Giants with game one of “Community Heroes Weekend” presented by Coastal Gas Link. Members of community hero groups will be in attendance to be recognized for the tireless work they put in to make our community as safe and enjoyable as possible. The second game of the back-to-back goes at 2:00pm on Sunday, November 10th and will feature the first MEGA 50/50 Jackpot of the season with a $50,000 jackpot guaranteed by Inland Truck and Equipment and Link-Belt Excavators. With assistance from the Prince George Community Foundation and Spirit of the North, the Cougars will be donating the proceeds of this MEGA Jackpot to RCMP Victim Services, Firefighters Charitable Society, and Spirit of the North.
Free game tickets are available for all Northern Health Staff for both November 9th & 10th. The Cougars have received donations from multiple businesses to be used for tickets to be distributed to “community hero” groups. The Cougars, the Prince George Community Foundation, and Spirit of the North, are so happy to share tickets with our frontline heroes.
