National Indigenous Peoples Day 2023

Today is National Indigenous Peoples Day, a time to celebrate Canada’s First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. In partnership with Carrier Sekani Family Services and Northern Health, we welcomed some extremely talented visitors to the Atrium at UHNBC to share their fantastic drumming and dancing skills with us in preparation for today.

Thank you to the Nusdeh Yoh School Drummers and the Aboriginal Head Start Dancers for your incredible performances and for helping to raise awareness for National Indigenous Peoples Day!
