Remember our Prince George Cougars Hockey Club Mega 50/50?

This is the machine that was purchased thanks to everyone who bought a ticket!

"Hey Spirit of the North, I thought you might like to see an image of the ultrasound machine that Dr. Patel was using today to gain vascular access to place a stent in a patient.

This was a patient that had blockages in the vessels in their legs and needed stents placed to help restore blood flow. Typically the patient would have had to go to the OR for this procedure, but we were able to do it in the IR Suite with the guidance of the new ultrasound machine."

This is another example of how we're bringing better healthcare closer to home, thanks to you!
