rIDING STRONG FOR CARDIAC CARE
The Punjabi Senior Society is gearing up for their 14th annual Bike-a-thon, taking place on Saturday, August 23, 2025—and we couldn’t be more excited!
Last year’s ride was nothing short of incredible, raising $42,243.51 in support of cardiac care in Northern BC—over $10,000 more than the previous year! Their continued commitment to advancing health care in our region is inspiring, and we are so grateful for their longstanding support.
Funds raised through this event help provide essential cardiac equipment and care closer to home—ensuring that when someone’s heart needs help, the tools, technology, and expertise are there.
To every rider, organizer, and donor: thank you for your dedication, your passion, and your heart. We are proud to ride alongside you in building a stronger, healthier future for our region.
Here’s to another incredible year on the road—see you August 23!

Initiated in 2010, this ride has made an incredible impact on healthcare in the North. The funds raised have played a pivotal role in supporting our areas of greatest need, including our regional Cardiac Campaign, Optos OCT-SLO for the eye clinic, Spect CT Scanner, and a Dedicated Maternal Operating Room.
“We are truly grateful for the generosity and ambition shown for healthcare by everyone. Each year, the Bike-A-Thon continues to direct their donations to an area of greatest need, and focusing on healthy messages to youth is ideal. Our hope is that what is learned through this program is retained and shared with family and friends so that everyone benefits from great lessons learned at a young age.” – Aimee Cassie, CEO
“It is important that the money raised stays here locally to help, and that our event draws the community together. I would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Mann. I couldn't do the event without him, and thank you to all of the participants who help us and work hard on this." - Gordie Powar, Bike-A-Thon Coordinator
