STAY TUNED FOR 2026!
rIDING STRONG FOR CARDIAC CARE
Each year, the Punjabi Senior Society hosts their annual Bike-a-Thon in support of cardiac care in Northern BC. What began as a community ride has grown into a long-standing tradition of generosity and commitment to strengthening health services at UHNBC.
In 2025, the 14th annual ride raised $44,408, bringing their total contribution to an incredible $300,229.18. This ongoing support helps ensure that advanced cardiac equipment, tools, and expertise are available closer to home for patients across the region.
We are deeply grateful to every rider, donor, and organizer who makes this event possible year after year.
The 2025 ride may be complete, but the journey continues. Stay tuned for details on the 2026 Bike-a-Thon!

Initiated in 2010, this ride has made an incredible impact on healthcare in the North. The funds raised have played a pivotal role in supporting our areas of greatest need, including our regional Cardiac Campaign, Optos OCT-SLO for the eye clinic, Spect CT Scanner, and a Dedicated Maternal Operating Room.
“We are truly grateful for the generosity and ambition shown for healthcare by everyone. Each year, the Bike-A-Thon continues to direct their donations to an area of greatest need, and focusing on healthy messages to youth is ideal. Our hope is that what is learned through this program is retained and shared with family and friends so that everyone benefits from great lessons learned at a young age.” – Aimee Cassie, CEO
“It is important that the money raised stays here locally to help, and that our event draws the community together. I would like to say a special thanks to Dr. Mann. I couldn't do the event without him, and thank you to all of the participants who help us and work hard on this." - Gordie Powar, Bike-A-Thon Coordinator
