The Susan Broomsgrove Legacy Bursary was established by the Broomsgrove family in partnership with Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation to honour Susan Broomsgrove’s life, career, and lifelong commitment to nursing, learning, and community care.

This one-time $3,000 bursary supports a deserving third-year nursing student from Northern British Columbia who is pursuing their education and preparing to enter their fourth year of study. The bursary is paid directly to UNBC and applied toward tuition fees.

Eligible applicants are invited to submit a letter outlining their passion for nursing and demonstrated financial need. Applications must be received no later than March 31, 2026.
