McHappy Day is a national day of giving, with a portion of all McDonald’s sales supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities and children’s health initiatives across Canada.

In Northern BC, funds raised support the newly opened Ronald McDonald House Family Room at UHNBC through Spirit of the North. This is a space designed to provide comfort and support to families staying close to their child during care.
