One Door at a Time: August Casino Night with BCNE & PGAHA to Support Seniors
Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation is partnering with the BC Northern Exhibition (BCNE) and the Prince George Agricultural and Historical Association (PGAHA) for a special fundraising event in support of seniors living in care homes across Northern BC.
Taking place during the Trade Route Beer & Cider Festival on Friday, August 15 at Kin 3, the BCNE/Spirit of the North Casino Night will feature games, local sips, and a raffle, including the chance to win a $2,500 travel voucher.
All proceeds will go toward purchasing custom vinyl door wraps for long-term care homes throughout the region.
These wraps, designed to look like real front doors, offer more than a decorative upgrade—they serve as an important tool for residents living with dementia. By helping individuals recognize their own rooms, they reduce confusion and anxiety while promoting a greater sense of familiarity and comfort.
Tickets include:
Gate admission to BCNE
Admission to the Beer & Cider Festival
Casino Night entry
5 taster tickets
1 charcuterie cup
This fun and impactful evening is a chance to come together in support of seniors in our community. Every ticket purchased helps bring warmth, dignity, and a sense of home to those living in care, one door at a time.
