LiUNA Local 1611 Supports Advanced Diagnostic Equipment at UHNBC

We were grateful to welcome LiUNA Local 1611 for a recent visit and show of support for healthcare in Northern BC.

Their generous donation, made through the Labourers’ Advancement Fund, will help advance funding for an endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) system at UHNBC—an important piece of diagnostic equipment that will support the detection and staging of lung cancer and other respiratory conditions.

Projects like this are made possible through the combined efforts of community partners and signature initiatives like the Festival of Trees, helping bring specialized care closer to home for patients across the North.

We’re proud to work alongside partners like LiUNA Local 1611, whose support helps move important healthcare projects forward.
