Thank You – Community Heroes Weekend
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating Community Heroes Weekend, proudly supported by TC Energy / Coastal GasLink and Canadian Tire. The support from across Prince George truly shows what happens when our community comes together: compassion, gratitude, and pride in the people who make a difference every day.
We were proud to partner with local nonprofits, organizations, and everyday heroes who keep our community strong. A huge thank you to the Prince George Community Foundation and the Prince George Cougars for their continued partnership and endless support of nonprofits across Prince George and Northern BC. The weekend brought fans, families, and heroes together for two unforgettable Cougars home games dedicated to honouring frontline workers, first responders, educators, and healthcare professionals. Prince George also came out in force for the season’s first Mega 50/50, sponsored by Inland Truck & Equipment, which reached an incredible $89,716 - split evenly between the lucky winner and local charities, including Spirit of the North. Throughout the weekend, players wore exclusive Link-Belt warm-up jerseys, now being auctioned to raise even more funds for healthcare and community initiatives across the North.
