Local Artist and Long-Time Supporter Featured in Funding Innovation Program

The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation is proud to feature a stunning work by local artist and Festival of Trees volunteer, Ken Ferris. [Re: Easel print | Outlook]

Inspired by the beauty of a lake near Jasper, this remarkable piece showcases Ken's talent, patience, and passion for capturing the landscapes that make our province so special.

Created over many weeks, the artwork reflects an incredible level of detail and craftsmanship that truly needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.

Many people throughout the community are familiar with the Funding Innovation Program auction displays located in local businesses and community spaces. Through this unique initiative, artwork helps raise funds for healthcare priorities across Northern BC while shining a spotlight on talented local artists.

Ken has been a dedicated supporter of Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation for many years, generously sharing his talent and passion with our community. We are incredibly grateful for his continued support and commitment to helping advance healthcare for patients and families across Northern BC.

We are also thrilled to share that Ken has generously offered to donate an original painting for Spirit of the North's Gala this December. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on a one-of-a-kind piece, with Ken providing a selection of original works from which the Foundation can choose. [Re: Easel print | Outlook]

His artwork continues to inspire those who see it, while his generosity helps create healthier communities throughout Northern BC.

Thank you, Ken, for your artistry, kindness, and ongoing support of Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
