Celebrating 15 Years of Our Festival of Trees Santa

After more than 15 incredible years of spreading joy, laughter, and holiday magic, our beloved Festival of Trees Santa, Phil, is hanging up the red suit for a well-earned retirement.

From hosting the cherished Santa Claus Breakfast to visiting children at UHNBC each year, Phil has been part of so many meaningful moments for families across our community. His warmth, kindness, and genuine spirit helped make Festival of Trees a truly magical experience year after year.

For many, seeing Santa at Festival of Trees wasn’t just a tradition - it was a moment of connection, joy, and comfort. And for Phil, it was clearly something he gave his whole heart to.

On behalf of the Festival of Trees Committee and the team at Spirit of the North, we are incredibly grateful for the time, care, and energy he shared with our community.

Thank you, Phil, for helping make Festival of Trees such a special and lasting tradition.

Wishing you a retirement filled with rest, joy, and maybe just a little less chimney climbing.
