PG Cougars 2025 Spirit Weekend Lifts Up Kids in Care
What a weekend.
Spirit Weekend with the Prince George Cougars brought energy, generosity, and plenty of memorable moments to CN Centre.
From Bobblehead Night on Friday to the fan-favourite Teddy Bear & Toque Toss on Saturday, the weekend was a celebration of hockey and giving back.
When the Cougars scored their first goal on Saturday night, the ice quickly filled with stuffed animals - one of the most heartwarming traditions of the season. Through our partnership with The Salvation Army, these donations will be shared with children receiving care at UHNBC and with families in need across the region.
The excitement continued with Chuck-a-Puck and a packed arena full of fans showing their support.
We’re grateful to the Prince George Cougars, The Salvation Army, our volunteers, and everyone who took part in making the weekend such a success.
