Thank You – PG Ford Supports EBUS and Family Room Projects at UHNBC

We’re incredibly grateful to Prince George Ford for their generous donation in support of patients and families across Northern BC.

Because of their support, two important initiatives at UHNBC are moving forward, bringing care, comfort, and hope closer to home.

Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) System at UHNBC

This advanced diagnostic tool is a significant step forward in lung cancer care. EBUS allows clinicians to take tissue samples from the lungs and surrounding lymph nodes using a minimally invasive approach, reducing the need for surgery, delivering faster results, and easing the experience for patients. Most importantly, it will help keep this critical service close to home for families across the North.

This welcoming space provides families with a place to rest, recharge, and stay close to loved ones receiving care, because being together matters most during difficult times.
