CHILLIN' FOR CHARITY IS NO ORDINARY EVENT: PARTICIPANTS DIVE INTO ICE-COLD WATER, NOT JUST FOR THE THRILL OF IT, BUT TO SUPPORT A CAUSE
The UNBC JDC West team has taken this chilly plunge year after year, and the impact has been profound. Through their efforts over fourteen years, they've raised more than $250,000 for the foundation! These students are also extremely dedicated to volunteering and join us at many of our other events to support our efforts.
While the Chillin' For Charity event is a significant initiative, it's also part of the larger JDC West competition. JDCW, western Canada's premier undergraduate business competition, brings together over 600 students from top universities. They compete, not just in business acumen, but in areas like athletics, debate, and social engagement. The students’ commitment to excellence in these arenas parallels their dedication to supporting the community.
