Driving Impact: Cougars Alumni Tournament Surpasses $800,000 for Cardiac Care

We’re proud to recognize a major milestone for the Prince George Cougars Alumni Charity Golf Tournament - a community tradition that continues to make a meaningful difference for patients and families across Northern BC.

Thanks to the ongoing dedication of the Cougars Alumni, the Cougars organization, sponsors, volunteers, and the many golfers who take part each year, the tournament has now raised well over $800,000 in support of life-saving cardiac care at UHNBC.

This milestone was celebrated during the Cougars 2026 Retro Weekend alongside Prince George Cougars alumni Ty Edmonds and Ronald Petrovicky, Collean Dawley, Finance Director at Northland Dodge, and Eric Simmons from the Spirit of the North Board of Directors, recognizing the collective effort behind this incredible impact.

A special thank you to Northland Dodge, the tournament’s presenting sponsor, for their ongoing leadership and support.

Behind every dollar raised is a patient receiving care closer to home, a family spared long and difficult travel, and a community coming together when it matters most.

We’re already looking ahead to this year’s tournament on July 3 & 4, 2026, and the continued impact it will bring.
