DWB’s Charity Forest Returns $20,940 to Local Causes

Festival of Trees is about more than celebration. It’s about community coming together to support one another in meaningful ways.

One of the most impactful spaces within the event is the Charity Forest, presented by DWB Consulting Services, where Team Spirit truly shines.

Guests are invited to wander through a beautiful grove of trees, each one uniquely decorated by local charities and non-profits and telling the story of the work they do in our region. When attendees bid on their favourite tree, they’re not just taking home something special. They’re helping that organization take home critical support, with every winning bid going directly back to the charity that created it.

In 2025, we were proud to partner with an incredible group of organizations through the Charity Forest:

• Canadian Cancer Society

• Engage Sport North

• Northern Regional Construction Association

• Northern Lights Wildlife Society

• The Salvation Army

• UNBC Stem Cell Club

• Theatre NorthWest

• Prince George Community Foundation

Through the Charity Forest, an incredible $20,940 was raised and returned directly to participating organizations. We are so grateful for the role these organizations play in our region and for the impact they continue to make every day!
