New Ultrasound System Now Available in Tumbler Ridge

Thanks to the generosity of Spirit of the North donors, patients in Tumbler Ridge now have access to advanced ultrasound imaging right in their own community. This new system is already making a meaningful difference in how care is delivered locally, helping clinicians make clearer assessments sooner, and without unnecessary delays or travel.

As Dr. Tamara Pacholuk shares:

“Since acquiring this piece of equipment, we’ve been able to avoid several patient transfers to Dawson Creek ER by having more clear and detailed imaging assessments at our fingertips here in Tumbler Ridge. This is a huge benefit to the community, especially going into the winter months.”
